On average, around fifteen people every year in the UK are killed working in confined spaces. In addition, a number of people are seriously injured. Those killed include not only people working in the confined space, but also those who try to rescue them.

These courses are designed to provide delegates with the necessary background and skills to work safely in a confined environment.

Alpha Training are specialists in Confined Spaces Awareness Training and Confined Space Rescue.  Our first dedicated Confined Space Training Unit has arrived on our new training ground in West Sussex. It allows us to run courses directly from our bespoke training centre, combining fantastic classroom facilities with dedicated Confined Space entry facilities.  The complex incorporates over 50 metres of tunnelling and various entry points, including a “Danger Room” where a wide variety of scenarios can be played out. Practical courses ranging from Confined Space awareness through to specialist Confined Space rescue can be provided at these new facilities.

Technical confined space rescue courses can also be run where facilities are available at the clients own premises.  Courses can include the use of line rescue equipment, escape breathing apparatus, gas monitoring and working breathing apparatus sets.
