The Confined Space intermediate traverse incl. rescue course is designed to give individuals a safe working knowledge and understanding of basic confined space working including safe entry and exit procedures along with an overview of various items of safety equipment including the use of full working breathing apparatus and rescue equipment. This course also includes an Emergency First Aid for Appointed Persons Certificated module.

It is designed to provide delegates with the skills required to successfully set up a safe confined space working environment and ensure that if an emergency situation should arise, the delegates can instigate a basic search and rescue procedure whilst awaiting the arrival of the emergency services. Where entry into a confined space is made and the person has to traverse away from the point of entry, rescue arrangements must be put in place as per the confined space legislation.

  • Emergency rescue procedures incl. search and rescue
  • Practical exercises
  • Company specific confined space policies and procedures
  • Company specific rescue policies and procedures

 

This training is run by our very own training team of qualified and experienced emergency medical technician and confined space specialist rescue instructors.
