Manual handling causes over a third of all workplace injuries. These include work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) such as pain and injuries to arms, legs and joints, and repetitive strain injuries of various sorts. The term manual handling covers a wide variety of activities including lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling and carrying. If any of these tasks are not carried out appropriately there is a risk of injury.

Our courses offer a variety of training solutions from basic awareness to specific risk assessing skills. It is not just about picking up a box in a classroom. Our courses are designed to be bespoke for your workplace needs taking into account your environment, industry, specific risks and people. We encourage practical application as much as possible looking at client specific equipment, loads and activities to improve on overall manual handling technique and understanding.
