Following a period of reduced activity due to COVID-19 lockdown, Alpha Training is delighted to officially re-start the delivery of training courses. With open courses at the Training Academy already having re-started and bespoke courses being delivered across the UK, the team are looking forward to doing what they love best – delivering high quality, relevant and practical training to delegates.

Head of Business Operations Louise Grant says: “The team have worked hard behind the scenes to conduct in-depth risk assessments and put in place a robust plan to continue delivering our training courses to the highest standard, and in a safe and socially-distant manner. We want our delegates to feel confident and comfortable when attending our courses and will continue to listen closely to our customers’ concerns and preferences.”

Some of the measures put in place include:

  • Implementation of a one-way system for delegates to follow
  • Reconfiguration of the training rooms to allow for 2m distance between desks
  • Reduction in group sizes
  • Temperature and oxygen levels check on arrival
  • Provision of PPE for all delegates
  • Increase in cleaning regime
  • Change in cancellation terms
  • Sanitising stations throughout site

The team have also used the time to re-assess how best to provide health and safety training to customers going forward. Starting from 1st July, there will be three different ways of learning available: face-to-face learning, e-learning and blended learning which is a mixture of the two. More information is to follow.

The list of upcoming training courses can be found here and include First Aid, Confined Space, IOSH, Fire Safety and many more…

If you have any training requirements please get in touch with the team on 01903 871381 or info@alphahealthandsafety.com who will be very happy to help.
