11th May 2020

Following the recent government review of the current lockdown and its outline of an exit strategy, we wanted to update you on our situation, which remains largely unchanged. Our open courses have been cancelled until the end of May 2020, and we are in contact with all of our customers to coordinate their training requirements as soon as they are ready. We have conducted some critical training under government guidelines and are continuing to take bookings for future dates.

We already work closely with some of the industries encouraged to return to work by the government, such as construction and manufacturing, and we will continue to deliver training courses subject to Risk Assessments, Social Distancing and PPE. If you have any training requirements please contact us on info@alphahealthandsafety.com to discuss.

The safety and wellbeing of the team and our customers remains the highest priority, and we are working behind the scenes to put in place additional safety measures, amending risk assessments and reviewing current processes. Thank you to all our staff, associates and customers for their patience and understanding. We look forward to delivering exceptional safe levels of training in the near future.

Our sister company Face Fit Testing UK Ltd are taking bookings for qualitative face fit tests to ensure the safety of your PPE. Please contact info@facefittestinguk.co.uk for more information on booking a face fit test.

The team at Alpha, along with the rest of the world, has been trying to adapt to the changes that are needed to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, we are still very much open for business and our training courses are still taking place, both at our Training Academy as well as at customer site. We are closely following government guidance and have put in place a range of additional measures, such as providing even more hand sanitisers and reducing the group size in line with social distancing recommendations. We will keep monitoring the situation and government guidance on a daily basis and will communicate any changes via our social media channels. Take care and stay safe.
